I have over 12 years of experience managing complex projects and relationships.
I'm happily full time at Hot Studio. Prior to joining Hot full time in 2007, I worked on fantastic projects with Apple Computer, odopod, Factor Design, and frog design.
Prior to launching my freelance career I was at frog design for almost 3 years as a Senior Producer. During my tenure at frog I managed over 40 projects ranging from brand strategy to industrial design to massive design systems for software and websites. I was also the acting Account Manager for Sun Microsystems for over 2 years, helping to grow the account from one project into a multi-million dollar partnership.
While at Rare Medium, Inc., I was a Producer and then Solution Partner leading teams of up to 20 members on web site and software application projects. I became skilled at working with and presenting to C-level stakeholders, as well as versed in the art of gathering and prioritizing business and user objectives.
And even before THAT, before I moved to San Francisco
in 1994, I opened a café with another woman in San Antonio, TX, at the ripe
old age
of 20.
All of this work experience is supplemented by my advanced knowledge of user-centered design processes and technical know-how, as well as my background in print production. My love of writing (fiction and non-) and my compulsive documenting of San Francisco life via photography keep my creative juices flowing.
